2020 June Camps


This year we will be running several different types of camps to try and accommodate players of all skill levels and increase the proficiency of our in-house training. 
Starting on June 1st!!! We will be offering 1-week intensive training sessions, or June CampsMonday thru Friday, from 12-noon until 4:30 pm. 
Camp Registration is capped at 24 Skaters per Session. 12 - 14U/12U and 12 - 10U/8U. Group numbers may be adjusted depending on player registrations. 
***The Friday Morning before each Session any wait-listed players will be given priority registration over new signs.***

The JUNE CAMPS will be restricted to players already involved in league play.*
*exceptions can be made on the basis of player skill by head instructor.
The JUNE CAMPS will offer a daily curriculum of: 45 mins of off-ice skills/drills (we are including a take home workout book this year), a 30 min instructed pre-skate warmup, 1.5 hr on-ice instruction revolving around; individual offensive/defensive skills, reactive offensive techniques, and game theory, we will end each day with a hr classroom session where we will do video analysis and game theory. 
Each week culminates with a 1-hr on-ice Skills Competition each Friday followed by a short Awards Presentation.
June Camp Costs:
$300 per Skater per Session.
$1080 All Sessions
We would also like to offer a Family Rate to families with multiple skaters of 10% off your final price for each additional sibling when you register more than one player per family. Please email Jere Free at hockey@spiriticearena.com before you register, or register in the Pro Shop.
Players will also receive a Spirit Hockey Academy Jersey/Sock set. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the effect it has had on shipping and distribution we may not be able to provide Jersey/Socks on Day 1 of Camp but will provide them as soon as possible.
*COVID-19 guidelines and rink rules will be emailed to all participating campers. 
We will also be offering LEARN TO PLAY ACADEMY, AGE SPECIFIC PRESEASON CAMPS and a couple ALL GIRL CAMPS, developed and instructed by NCAA Women's hockey players! More information on these camps to follow.

Spirit Hockey Academy 2020 Learn to Play Academy


Mission Statement

The mission of the Spirit Hockey Academy Summer Program is to provide comprehensive training for children and teens. Our goal is to provide players with the correct mental and physical skills to maintain a high behavioral and competitive standard throughout all aspects of their lives.


The Learn to Play Academy is a 4.5 hour per day, 5 day full spectrum training program for beginner players that are looking for a developmental push to get into league play. The Learn to Play Academy will be accepting 12 Squirt/Mite (10U/8U) and 12 Bantam/PeeWee (14U/12U) skaters per session.

**Player  numbers may be adjusted depending on registrations.


The FRIDAY MORNING before each session, waitlisted players will be given priority registration over new signs.

All registered skaters will receive an email with COVID-19 guidelines and rink specific rules
