Valentines Day Figure Skating Exhibition 2021

Spirit Ice Arena and the Brazos Valley Figure Skating Club (BVFSC) invite skaters to perform for family and friends. Skaters are welcome to perform any type of routine and will have full ice as in a competition or test session. Skaters will also have the opportunity for an optional program assessment from former USFS Gold Judge Shannon Keeler. Sign up in the Pro Shop!

Skaters will be able to choose their own music, with routine length being in line with competition time allowances for Freeskate as follows:

Snowplow 1-4 ~ 1:00 max Preliminary – PreJuvenile ~ 2:10 max

Basic 1-6 ~ 1:00 max Juvenile – Novice ~ 3:40 max

PreFreeskate – Freeskate 6~ 1:30 max Junior – Senior ~ 4:10 max

No Test – PrePreliminary ~ 1:40 max

All programs that are showcase, duet or trio shall be in line with the competition allowances for Showcase as follows:

Snowplow 1-4 ~ 1:00 max Preliminary – PreJuvenile ~ 1:30 max

Basic 1-6 ~ 1:00 max Juvenile – Novice ~ 2;10 max

PreFreeskate – Freeskate 6~ 1:30 max Junior – Senior ~ 2:40 max

No Test – PrePreliminary ~ 1:30 max

For group time allowances, please email shannon@spiriticearena.com for more information. Skaters are welcome to form duets, trios, and groups (TOI, Ensemble, Synchro) as they would like. All skaters/groups will be responsible for scheduling lessons with a private coach for choreography and assistance in music selection preparation.
